Welcome to yet another Mount Pleasant based project soon to be released by Paradise developments. If you live in Brampton, then you’ve definitely at some point in time, while driving around the city, seen a Paradise developments sign; they’re pretty hard to miss. For those of you who aren’t familiar with Paradise, they’ve made quite the mark in Brampton. Paradise has been around for 40 years and they’ve constructed more than 6,000 homes in their time and have won many awards, such as the Tarions Presidents Achievements Award for the last 4 years.
In Brampton, Paradise has built 9 projects, some of which became the most well known projects in the city. The most popular project and the one you might be most familiar with is, of course, the Lakelands. Lakelands village was built around a man-made lake and homes were sold with a back facing view of a beautiful lake. Check out our article on Lakelands, if you want more info on Paradise developments. Other projects by Paradise include: Mohogany, Ravines Of Creditview, Ravines Crossing, Willow Creek, Magnolia, and of course, Mount Pleasant.
Upper Mount Pleasant is an addition to their Mount Pleasant collection of homes; this project will be located by Mayfield road and Creditview road. Upper Mount Pleasant will feature Townhomes, Semi-Detached homes, and Detached homes. Lot sizes will vary from 22’ Townhomes to the 45’ Detached home, so there’s surely a home for everyone. The name Mount Pleasant has become synonymous with the Mount Pleasant GO station, not to get confused, Upper Mount Pleasant is not near the Go station in terms of easy accessibility. If you take a look at the aerial view of the proposed project, you’ll see exactly where you will be located compared to the Go Station.
Upper Mount Pleasant Townhomes feature courtyards in the back to supply residents with more outdoor leisure space; courtyards aren’t included in many new townhome developments. Townhomes start in size with the model “ The Amber” which is 1,560 square feet and extend down to “The Dove” model, which is the biggest in the townhome category at 1,830 square feet.
Semi-Detached homes start with the model “ The Torino” which is 1,560 square feet and extend down to “ The Zenith” sits on 2,000 square feet and a 28’ foot lot.
The detached homes come with the most variances in terms of lot sizes, buying a detached home by Paradise gives you the option of choosing between 30’, 38’,41’, and 45’ lots. Of course since exact prices for this project are not yet released we can’t tell you how much the difference between the lot sizes is, but since it’s Paradise, the difference between at 38’ foot lot and a 41’ foot lot might be quite pricey. That is, if the size of the lot is a big decision maker for you. General pricing for all models is at the bottom of this article, these are starting prices not including upgrades.
For the 38’ foot detached lots, the smallest size being offered is the model “The Dublin” which comes in at 1,835 square feet. The biggest of the 38’ foot lots is the model “The Lancaster” at 2,840 square feet, a massive difference in size between the models.
The 41’ foot lots offer “The Amberley” as the starting end model with 2,550 square feet and on the opposite end they have “The Grafton” which sits on 3,170 square feet.
The biggest models offered by Paradise for Upper Mount Pleasant are the 45’ foot lots which start with the model “ The Antibes” at 2,775 square feet, and extend all the way down to “The Forest” model which sits on a massive 3,630 square feet.
